The Storyline 360 Media Library is very helpful by allowing you to update without affecting existing properties and triggers for the asset. This works very well whether it is an image, audio, or video. Note: You may have to use an asset with an earlier date than the one you are using. If the asset you are replacing in the same location has an earlier date, you will not see it highlighted with the yellow circle for re-import. You will have to do a replace so you will not lose the properties and triggers. So don’t be fooled that you don’t see a yellow update circle when you are sure you changed the asset in the folder. As a side note, Adobe Captivate doesn’t flag any updates you make to its library. You just need to know you should do an update. It will update whatever is in the folder regardless of date.
